Vaccines
We're here to help! Please don't hesitate to ask your provider about any concerns you may have regarding vaccines during your next visit.
At Spring Creek Pediatrics, we strongly believe in the importance of vaccines in protecting your child's health. We follow the recommended vaccine schedule from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC.
We understand that some parents have concerns about vaccines. While we fully support and recommend the standard schedule, we offer a modified schedule for families who prefer a different approach. Please note that choosing a modified schedule may leave your child vulnerable to preventable diseases for a longer period. Additionally, your child can be more likely to transmit preventable diseases to others who may be too young to vaccinate or who may have immune problems. Also if your child is not fully vaccinated, any time they have a fever, extra evaluation and testing may be required. Lastly if there is an outbreak of a vaccine preventable illness, your child may be required to stay home from school or daycare until the outbreak is over.

§ Rotateq is a vaccine taken by mouth to prevent rotavirus which causes fever, vomiting, and profuse diarrhea. The vaccine is not yet required for school or daycare attendance. We do highly recommend it but will work with parents who do not wish to obtain this vaccine.
